JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will teach mathematics for grades 7-9 at Trollehöjd School. Depending on your qualifications, other subjects may also be included in the position.

You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration, collegial learning, and shared responsibility for students' development are central. For those who are licensed and particularly skilled, there is an opportunity for a role as a lead teacher, where you, together with the school management, drive pedagogical development based on scientific principles and proven experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a teacher or educator
• Has a good ability to create structure, clarity, and good relationships with students
• Works professionally, solution-focused, and with the student's learning at the center
• Enjoys collaboration and contributes to a positive work environment

We also welcome those who:

• have started teacher training
• have another relevant higher education
• have experience teaching mathematics and/or related subjects (science, technology, Swedish)

Desirable:

• Teaching certification is desirable but not required
• Mentorship experience
• Experience with Lesson Design or similar pedagogical methods
• Documented good teaching skills
• Be particularly skilled

Particularly skilled means deep subject knowledge, didactic competence, and the ability to teach based on research and proven experience. The work is characterized by reflection, adaptation to students' needs, collegial collaboration, and a holistic perspective in the school's quality work.

For the role of lead teacher, the following is required:

• Teaching certification in mathematics for grades 7-9
• At least five years of professional experience
• Documented good teaching results and experience in leading collegial development
